1 / What do I need to bring to my notary appointment?
For your notary appointment, you will need to bring valid identification, the documents to be notarized, and any other relevant paperwork or forms.
2 / What qualifies as approved Identification Documents (ID)?
Approved identification documents typically include a state-issued driver's license, passport, military ID, or other government-issued ID with a photograph and signature. Social Security Cards and Birth Certificates are not approved identification and will not be accepted at an appointment.
3 / What else do I need to know before scheduling an appointment?
Before scheduling an appointment, please ensure that all documents are complete. A notary is not allowed to provide any advice on how to fill out the paperwork. Also, make sure to know which notary certificate is required.
